Dale Carnegie: why we're involved

Sitting in the midst of a VUCA world, its clear that things are changing. These changes in a fast paced, social and technological world are now shifting the status quo in many industries, including manufacturing.

The cogs in the machines are turning faster than ever, from Brexit, to AI, to export and talent recruitment the challenges and opportunities that are arising are on the agenda for every organisation.

Being based in the North of England we are passionate about manufacturing and are proud to have partnered with Nissan, GM Motors and VEKA, to help them achieve their various business goals.

That is why we are privileged to be a part of Bradford Manufacturing Week, as it underpins 3 core values we live and work by:

Bringing people together to drive results is what we do and who are at Dale Carnegie. With community in mind, we feel incredibly privileged to be involved with an initiative that truly aims to unlock the potential of young people in the Bradford district. Its these people that will be driving the change for the future in manufacturing.

We are passionate about people, and empowering people to be the best they can be. By helping young people to have an awareness, understanding and interest in manufacturing, it allows them to fully consider their options and make an informed decision about their future career. In manufacturing, like in most sectors, having the skills to be able to communicate, think innovatively and drive performance is crucial.

Whether this is enabling business growth, people, or industry growth, Dale Carnegie are driven and committed to creating new opportunity for others. It’s clear Bradford Manufacturing Week creates space to enable people and share experience to drive opportunity.

Dale Carnegie are excited to be on board and to be a supporting cog in the well-oiled enabling machine that is Bradford Manufacturing Week!

“We all have possibilities we don’t know about.  We can all do things we don’t even dream we can do.”

Dale Carnegie 1936
